Looking at the state of Holy Mother Church in 2021 it's difficult to not become filled with despair. The video is from a parish in Austria, whose priest decided to turn the holiest celebration of the year, our Lord's Resurrection into some demonically inspired paganistic dance festival. We see Bishops and Cardinals involved in worse corruption than many politicians. We see our Holy Father speaking in ways, spreading confusion that it is hard to continue giving him the benefit of the doubt.

So what do we do? Do we convert to Orthodoxy? Join an Eastern Rite Church? Become Atheists and say the gates of hell have prevailed and Christ is not Lord?

No.

We cannot fall into despair, it is a sin against God as it presumes that God is not God, he can create the world but somehow cannot rectify a gang of deviants who have used lies and half-truths to worm their way into power. This is why there are constant exhortations to be happy, we are to be happy. We cannot understand how God works or when he will work and when he will not. God's will IS. When he spoke to Moses he said "I AM WHO AM", and his will is just that. It IS. Like Gravity we cannot escape it, we cannot wish it away, we cannot choose to ignore it and jump off a building and begin to fly just because we no longer believe in it.

It is as must be. Not in our time, but his. Not our will, but he will be done.

We must remember the final words of God in Scripture were not Christ ascending into Heaven and that was it. He didn't say "I hope you can make this work," He said the gates of Hell will NOT prevail against it. He didn't promise there would be no false prophets or purposeful confusion from those serving a different master. He specifically told us they would come. He said the Gates of Hell would not prevail against the Church. The Church is not St Peters or your local parish, it is part of the Church but the Church is the Deposit of faith, the tradition of hard-fought defenses of truth and revelation of the mysteries of our faith. It is the mystery of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, It is Confession and all the sacraments, It is the Single nature of Christ, it is the knowledge of Christ's divinity, It is the Immaculate Conception and Assumption. It is ALL THOSE THINGS THAT MAKE THE CHURCH THE CHURCH. There are millions of people around the world rejecting the modernist heresy and turning BACK to faith and the old rite. Choosing to worship God in the way that MOST GLORIFIES HIM!

The last book God revealed to us was a prophecy of the end times. We don't know when it begins, how long it takes, or any of these details. The Important part is that we do know the ending to this movie we call the material world. We don't know what part we will play if in our lifetime these events play out if we will survive or not. All of this is unimportant. We know that those who stay faithful to the Church, those that serve God will be with him in heaven whether we die at the end of time, 20 minutes into the end days, or 1000 years before.
